Our Vision
Kidz Matter exists to bridge the opportunity gap for youth in underserved communities through dynamic programs that blend athletics, academics, mentorship, and leadership. We provide the structure and support young people need to develop confidence, character, self-worth, and a strong sense of purpose, empowering them to become leaders and helping them realize that they have the power to shape their own future.
Without a mentor and a leader to look up to, many youth are without hope and fall victim to the cycle of poverty. Having just one person who believes in them and helps them believe in themselves makes all the difference.

Brandy Beesley
Recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Business (2019) and Top Latina in Business (2023) by Pacific Coast Business Times, Brandy brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership and an unwavering commitment to community empowerment.
Drawing from her extensive experience, Brandy has witnessed firsthand how young people are often underserved and overlooked. She is passionately dedicated to championing youth development, firmly believing that tomorrow's leaders are shaped by the opportunities we provide today. Her mission is rooted in the conviction that breaking generational cycles of poverty begins with one person believing in a child's potential—a single moment of hope that can transform a life and rewrite a future.
Master Romeo Gregory
As a martial arts academy owner with over 35 years of experience, Master Romeo Gregory has dedicated his life to serving and empowering the community. He teaches children and adults the confidence, leadership, and physical fitness that can only be achieved through the discipline of martial arts. With tremendous experience and a passion for building youth up as a positive role model, Master Gregory has successfully guided students from toddlers through college, helping them develop the character and skills needed to succeed in life.
Senior Master William Robinson
As a martial arts academy owner with over 35 years of experience, Master William Robinson has committed himself to creating an enjoyable and empowering environment where students can thrive. He focuses on building the confidence that students can carry into their everyday lives, transforming them from the inside out. With tremendous dedication to serving as a positive role model for youth, Senior Master Robinson has successfully taught and mentored students from toddlers through college, instilling the values and discipline that lead to lifelong success.
